A Claude skill to steal any viral video.

A free Claude Code skill I built. Drop a TikTok, Reel, or Short into /analyze and it pulls the full transcript — from the actual audio, so it works even when there are no captions — breaks down the hook, maps the script second by second, tells you why it went viral, and hands you 3 new angles you can steal right now.

Runs in Claude Code (the terminal one). One-command install · free Groq API key · no folder full of saved reels you'll never open again — you steal the exact formula in about 30 seconds.

Install · one command

Up and running in a minute.

Paste this in a terminal. It drops the skill and the /analyze command into ~/.claude/, vendors a self-updating yt-dlp, installs the bits it needs, checks everything runs, and prompts you for a free Groq key. Then restart Claude Code.

git clone https://github.com/artemnovitckii/analyze-skill && bash analyze-skill/install.sh
iWant Claude Code to install it for you? Paste this into a session: Clone and install this Claude Code skill for me, then tell me how to restart so it's picked up: https://github.com/artemnovitckii/analyze-skill. You'll still need a free Groq key and ffmpeg (brew install ffmpeg on macOS, sudo apt install ffmpeg on Linux).
The 4 moves · ~30 seconds

From a link to a formula you can steal.

Instead of saving reels to a folder you never open, you reverse-engineer the exact thing that made them work — and walk away with angles to post.

01

Copy the link

Find a video that's crushing — TikTok, Instagram Reel, or YouTube Short — and copy its URL. That's the only input.

02

Type /analyze and paste

In Claude Code, run the command with the link:

/analyze https://www.tiktok.com/@user/video/123...

Here's exactly what happens under the hood:

  • Download — it uses yt-dlp (the open-source video downloader) to pull the actual video file, then strips the audio out of it.
  • Transcribe — it sends that audio to Groq Whisper (whisper-large-v3-turbo), which is free. Because it reads the real audio — not scraped captions — it still works on videos that ship no caption track at all.
  • Analyze — Claude takes the transcript plus the stats and writes the breakdown below.

(You can also just paste a URL and ask "why does this work?" — it auto-triggers.)

03

Read the breakdown

You get a clean report, in order:

  • Data panel — platform, uploader, duration, views, likes, comments, shares, engagement rate.
  • Full transcript — every word, verbatim, ready to copy. No summary.
  • Hook teardown — the hook type, exactly why it stops the scroll, and a sharper rewrite of the opening line.
  • Second-by-second script map — the whole video segmented by function (hook → problem → reveal → proof → CTA), with pacing and where viewers drop.
  • Style tags + why it went viral — presentation, content type, tone, and 2–3 concrete reasons it took off.
04

Steal 3 angles

The last part is the money. It rewrites the video into 3 new angles you can post — each with an actual hook line written for you and the best platform to run it on.

+It builds a pattern library. Every run logs one record to a local file. Analyze ten videos in your niche, then ask Claude to “find the pattern across the ones I've analyzed” — that's where your own repeatable formula falls out.
Run it, break it, ping me

Analyze the last video that made you stop scrolling. If extraction chokes on a link or you want a feature added, ping me on Instagram, join the weekly call on Skool, or open a PR on GitHub.
