The Island
An island the size of a meadow.
A sky without edges.
You wake in the grass, a thousand feet above everything you have ever known. The island drifts where the wind takes it — over salt flats and sleeping cities, through fog banks and flocks of paper birds.
There is no map. There is no timer. There is only the wind, the grass beneath your feet, and the slow, certain feeling that you are being carried somewhere that matters.

What you'll do up there
Small hands. Big weather.
-
01
Ride the weather
Tilt the island into the jetstream. Catch thermals at dawn. Outrun a storm — or turn around and sail straight into it.
-
02
Tend the meadow
Every seed changes the island. Wildflowers call birds. Birds carry letters. Letters bring strangers to your shore.
-
03
Listen to the ground
Press your ear to the soil and the island will tell you where it wants to go. It is older than you. It remembers falling.
-
04
Find the other drifters
You are not the only one up here. Light a beacon at dusk and watch the horizon answer back.
The Studio
“We wanted to make a game that feels like the hour after rain — when everything is washed clean and quiet, and the whole sky belongs to you.”
— the two of us, somewhere above the clouds
Windrest is handcrafted by a two-person studio over many slow mornings. No publisher. No deadline crunch. Just grass, wind, and an unreasonable amount of love.
